Job Summary
The Production Technologist will kit, assemble, test, and calibrate Rockland products including sensors, printed circuit boards and complete instrument assemblies. Supports developing, assembling & testing prototype products. Provides service and troubleshooting on returned products.

Position Qualifications & Requirements
• Post-secondary Diploma in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical technology.
• 1 year of experience as a Production Technologist, Electronics technician, or related for high-tech
industries.
• Reading and producing wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Wiring and soldering: building wire harnesses, splicing cables, soldering and reworking of printed circuit boards (through-hole and surface mount).
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting electronic boards and assemblies including analog circuits.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Kit and assemble components into finished products for stock and for specific orders as directed.
• Test circuit boards, sensors, and instruments.
• Create & maintain production records of assembly, test & calibrations.
• Maintain and update assembly & test instructions, as required.
• Service & troubleshoot products returning to Rockland from customers.
• Assist with prototype development, assembly, and testing.

Working conditions
• Long periods of standing up.
• Occasional Heavy lifting.
• Usage of power tools and sharp objects.
• Working independently.
