Your Role:

Choose your own adventure! Let’s talk about how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can find a home at JLR. Your role will include:

Managing and executing mining projects from concept through to completion, including contract administration, commissioning, and closeout.
Working directly with mechanical engineers and technologists as part of an integrated multidisciplinary project team to develop PFDs and P&IDs, general arrangements, and select mechanical equipment.
Applying fundamentals and engineering tools to design mechanical systems (process equipment modification/replacement, pumping systems, industrial HVAC systems), or applying fundamentals and engineering tools to design civil infrastructure (site development, access and haul roads, pipelines, drainage infrastructure, and buried water and sewage infrastructure), or electrical systems for the industrial and mining sector including (dewatering systems, process and pressure piping, industrial ventilation, dust collection, tanks/vessels, boiler systems, material handling).
Assisting project managers, engineers, and technologists with project execution during all project phases.
Participating in the preparation of proposals and engineering budgets.
Completing site reviews during construction and reporting on observations.
Mentoring designers and EITs.
Communicating effectively with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
