Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated life sciences professional to join us in Montreal. Being bilingual is a requirement for this position. adMare offers a hybrid work environment, and infrequent travel to offices in Vancouver and Toronto may be required.

The Coordinator, adMare Academy is a key member of the adMare Academy team, supporting all programs and serving as the lead for experiential learning programs.

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinating the adMare Academy’s experiential learning programs and activities, including:
Developing and managing relationships with relevant organizations (co-op offices, graduate student programs, organizations representing equity-deserving groups, others) to support recruitment and training efforts.
Working in close collaboration with trainee supervisors and other adMare staff as appropriate to effectively and efficiently recruit, onboard, train, and offboard trainees.
Maintaining adMare Academy records in software applications, spreadsheets and databases and pull for regular and intermittent reporting requirements.
Creating and/or assisting with the creation of presentations, evaluations, marketing materials, training curriculum, and other resources as required for the Academy.
Planning, participating in, and potentially hosting, meetings, events, and seminars (in person, virtual, hybrid) for adMare trainees.
Performing various analyses (learning needs analyses, competitive landscape, program feedback/evaluations) to identify new opportunities for development and continuous improvement to existing programs to ensure the adMare Academy remains relevant with the current business climate.
Learning how to manage the adMare Learning Management System (LMS), serving as a back-up administrator as required.

Experience & Qualifications:

> 3 years experience working in the life sciences industry, with a BSc or higher in a life sciences-related discipline (co-operative education experience and/or a graduate degree an asset). Previous experience in learning and development roles an asset.
Excellent communication skills that showcase an ability to listen and articulately convey ideas and messages to internal and external audiences, both verbal and written.
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to establish productive, respectful, and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; understand and work effectively across geographic boundaries; and collaborate with teams, staff, and customers at all levels.
Self-motivated, positive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, leading projects without frequent oversight.
Demonstrated eagerness for continuous learning and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail.
Comfortable working as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
Bilingual English and French

Position Base Salary Range: $56,200-$84,300

The salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

The state of the language situation and the assessment of the language needs of our company justify the requirement of knowledge of a language other than French for this position. In this case, the successful candidate for this position is required to have an excellent command of English, both spoken and written, due to the fact that the tasks to be performed include the responsibility to maintain, on a continuous and daily basis, relations with our Canadian team, whose main language of oral and written exchange is English, and to be able to discuss scientific and business concepts competently and in detail in this language.
