ABOUT THE TEAM

We’re seeking a Senior Advisor, Business & Technology Governance, who will be reporting to the Director, Business & Technology Governance and who will be responsible for helping to support them in managing the Technology, Data and Operations (TDO) group’s managed services governance framework in compliance with best practices.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Advisor, Business & Technology Governance, you’ll:
• Provide guidance to TDO stakeholders regarding managed services agreements by working closely with them and the suppliers.
• Monitor the implementation of the governance framework for TDO managed services agreements and improve the guidelines.
• Play a leadership role in preparing and challenging facilitating and leading managed services governance committees with key suppliers.
• Ensure financial and non-financial aspects of the contracts including SLAs are aligned with TDO’s expectations and managed effectively on a continuous basis to meet the benefits of the agreement.
• Identify, document, and resolve any risks, issues, ambiguities, or conflicts arising from the implementation, management, and operationalization of the managed services.
• Synthesize relevant key information of TDO strategic managed services to prepare the monthly dashboard to the TDO Steering Committee.
• Support the team for other governance activities that have an impact on managed services agreements such as access management and internal controls.
• Implement a monitoring process and indicators for SaaS agreements.
• Review and monitor, in collaboration with TDO stakeholder owners, the SaaS agreements in terms of governance model, SLAs and quality of service received.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
• A minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in the managed services or outsourcing governance in a technology function or related experience.
• Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce or Financial Management, or an equivalent program.
• Ability to navigate in a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy.
• Attention to detail and rigorous approach to research, analysis, and documentation.
• Ability to connect and manage links among multiple projects and anticipate the impact of the project’s outcome for all concerned.
• Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, vendors, and peers.
• Eagerness to learn, ideate and innovate.
• Well-developed conflict management skills, with the ability to ensure vendors adhere to contract terms, operations service support and service delivery.
• A respect for differences of opinion and an inclusive mindset.
• Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
