Building Inclusive Workplace Cultures

The Systems Change Workshop: Building Inclusive Workplace Cultures is an applied learning experience designed for HR professionals and people leaders in STEM organizations who are working to strengthen and sustain healthy, inclusive workplace cultures.
Grounded in SCWIST’s evidence informed Five Foundational Pillars framework, this workshop explores how policies, practices, leadership behaviours and organizational systems shape professional conduct and inclusion. Drawing on more than 40 years of experience addressing systemic barriers in STEM, participants will examine how meaningful change happens at the systems level and how to build environments that are equitable, accountable and resilient.
Through guided discussion and hands on activities, participants will identify structural challenges within their organizations and develop concrete, practical strategies to drive long term culture change.

  • A practical introduction to the Five Foundational Pillars as a framework for systems change

This is not theory alone. The session is designed to help participants translate insight into action within their own organizational context.
