Thank You Letter

This was my fourth year organizing the XX Evening, and this year, I had enormous help from Samaneh Khakshour. The event was a great success, with over two hundred people in total, including SCWIST Board Directors, volunteers, Science World Staff, and Wonder Women who shared their experiences and career advice with the women in attendance.

Samaneh Khakshour and I would like to express our great appreciation to all the volunteers and SCWIST Board Directors for their help in organizing and promoting the various SCWIST’s programs during the event including IWIS (Immigrating Women in Science), ms infinity (Science Outreach Program) and Make Possible Mentorship Network. We wouldn’t be able to make this event possible without the generous help of our volunteers: Stephanie McInnis, Melissa Dennis, Mila Putrenko, Jianjia Fan, Maria Thunoe and Mandeep Takhar.

We would especially like to thank Sandy Eix and her staff from Science World for their hospitality and wonderful master ceremony.
