Advocacy is the most important tool we have as individuals, and as collective groups, to educate the decision-makers around us to understand how their policies affect our lives.
This advocacy toolkit will empower you with the confidence to advocate beyond your current influence, to understand different forms of advocacy and to raise your voice to be heard – no matter what you are advocating for.
At SCWIST, our main advocacy goal is to reach equity for women and girls pursuing STEM careers – and to create a lasting, positive impact for women and all equity-seeking groups. As part of our women empowerment advocacy, we focus on addressing the challenges women in STEM face and promoting policies and best practices that support their success.
