Health Sciences Association Scholarships and Bursaries

BC Hydro Indigenous Scholarships and Bursaries

BC Hydro scholarships and bursaries are available to Indigenous students from BC First Nations or Indigenous permanent residents of BC who are studying at an accredited post-secondary institution in a program that matches a career at BC Hydro.

New Relationship Trust Student Scholarships and Bursaries

The bursaries and scholarships program provides financial support to First Nation students to assist them in achieving success in their post-secondary journey. Bursaries are awarded to students pursuing Certificates, Diplomas, Trades and Associate degrees. Scholarships are awarded at the Undergraduate, Masters, and Doctorate levels.

Indigenous Women in Technology Scholarship

You must have completed a minimum of one year of post-secondary studies (30 credits) leading to an undergraduate degree, diploma or certificate in Computer/Data Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, and be continuing in your studies at a BC public post-secondary institution for at least one additional year.

BC Scholarship Society Indigenous Award

Value: $1,000 to $5,000

The BC Scholarship Society offers Indigenous Award programs for students pursuing trades training, apprenticeship, diploma, certificates, degree or post-degree programs in BC. They are available to students who identify as Indigenous – First Nations (Status or Non-Status), Métis or Inuit.

Ch’nook Scholars

Value: $2,000, plus expenses-paid attendance at two Ch’nook Scholars Regional Gatherings, opportunities to network with and learn from business leaders, workshops and seminars on Indigenous business topics, professional headshots, and other benefits.

The Ch’nook Scholars program gives Indigenous post-secondary business students the tools and connections they need to succeed in their studies and careers.
