The Position
SCWIST is rapidly growing its team, programs and impact. We are seeking an experienced operations manager to oversee daily activities and thoughtfully implement the right processes and practices across the organization. The ideal candidate will be process minded and have proven success in managing multiple departments for maximum impact. This person will be highly skilled in human resources, finance, and IT management, and be able to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within the team.

Responsibilities
- Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
- Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget
- Track staffing requirements, hiring and training new employees as needed
- Lead, motivate, and support a team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including problem resolution
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve systems
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives
- Manage budgets and forecasts
- Oversee IT
Required Skills
- Commitment to SCWIST’s values
- Self-starter with 5+ years’ experience in business and/or operational team management
- Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, financial, administrative, problem-solving, collaboration, analytical and communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Experience budgeting and forecasting
- Familiarity with non-profit financial principles
- Knowledge of software and an aptitude for learning new applications
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to respect and promote an inclusive work environment
- Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in operations management, administration, or related field
- Working knowledge of management software programs, including Dext, QuickBooks, and BambooHR
- Strong IT skills, including knowledge management
- Multiple years of financial and account reporting experience
