LA Tutors récompense les étudiants qui démontrent leur créativité et ont un impact positif avec une bourse d’Innovation in Education de 500 $. Sur une base mensuelle continue, cette bourse est ouverte à tous les étudiants inscrits au secondaire, au collège et aux cycles supérieurs qui démontrent leur créativité tout en aidant leur entourage (que ce soit lors d’une collecte de fonds créative, d’une nouvelle application inventive, d’une série de billets de blogue sur un thème particulier ou d’une autre idée). La date limite de candidature est à 23 h 59 PST le 20 de chaque mois.

The Dotcom-Monitor Women in Computing Scholarship is open to female students currently enrolled as full-time undergraduate students at an accredited college or university in the U.S. or Canada. Value: $5,000, and also includes a potential summer engineering work placement opportunity with Fortis Inc. at one of their Canadian utilities, after your second or third year of study.
John Evans, P.Eng was a Director and Vice-President of the Canadian Engineering Memorial Foundation (CEMF), a committed supporter of women in engineering and a CEMF scholarship judge. His legacy included a donation for an award to be made to a young Canadian woman entering an accredited engineering program in Canada from high school. It is not based on academic achievement.
