The much anticipated WISE 2014 event is here! This exclusive event for *women in engineering and science is a chance for you to talk to professionals and network in a casual and intimate setting. After an inspiring keynote speech from Kim Code, Vice President of Development for Heavy Oil at Shell and an alumna of UBC, you will talk in a small group setting with three different mentors. This is the time to ask questions for your career, learn about the different paths these women have chosen, and receive guidance on your own journey. Each year, students have expanded their horizons and received great advice from industry professionals. The conference features a keynote speaker followed by three rotations of conversations with industry mentors. Students will have the opportunity to choose which mentors they would like to chat with before the conference. As a student, you will have a chance to learn from and be inspired by mentors while enjoying food and refreshments.
Read the mentor bios and choose your top 5 mentors. Spend the evening in twenty minute round-table discussions with three different mentors.
