Description:

How can we use change as an opportunity to make meaningful decisions about our lives and careers?  We are often called upon to make important choices during times of change, yet many of us resist moving forward because the experience of change – the transition – is confusing and uncomfortable.  Transitioning from post graduate education to professional life may be unsettling yet this change may also hold potential to identify what is most important while letting go of beliefs and values that may not work for you anymore.

Drawing from her popular career transition course called Working on Purpose Sally will engage you in a way of thinking about change and career decision-making, so that you can experience them creatively and with purpose.

This series of three workshops provides opportunities to reflect, discuss and actively engage with other women in science and technology and to deepen the exploration of key career and life questions.

You will:

  • Apply a practical model of change to your current transition(s)
  • Review past life & career decisions as a way to guide the future
  • Clarify personal and work values
  • Identify key transferable skills
  • Have an opportunity to network in a purposeful way
  • Explore specific themes such as career, money and success
  • Create a grounded action plan for the future

Prepare to spend some time between these weekly workshops to do some  focused writing and networking.

Cost for each Workshop:

$35 for individual workshops or $75 for all three ($110 for 3 workshops for non-members)

(includes snacks, refreshments and all workshop material)

Registration is limited to 25 participants.

Bursary is available for a limited number of participants who are in financial need. To apply, please click here.
