The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a member of BCLC’s senior executive team, reports directly to the President & CEO, and is responsible for developing and executing on a strategic vision for Business Technology that will support short term initiatives as well as long term strategies of the organization. The CIO oversees a technology environment that is broad, complex and an industry leader, and that supports all aspects of the corporation. Under the CIO’s leadership, the Business Technology team is responsible for the planning, acquisition, implementation and operation of all infrastructure, software and platforms, and the CIO champions the use of information and technology in all aspects of the organization’s operations. The CIO also supports the CEO and other Executives, executes the corporate strategy, enacts BCLC’s social purpose, and implements decisions of the Board of Directors.
As the ideal candidate, you are an IT professional with exceptional strategic, delivery and people leadership skills, with considerable knowledge of the complexities of a large multi-channel delivery model. Working closely with the Senior Executive Team, you will understand how to enable the business to meet current customer demands while thinking innovatively about where gaming is headed in the future. In particular, you will demonstrate strength and a track record of success in three key areas:
Strategic orientation, and the ability to enable the broader business outcomes through collaboration with executive team colleagues.
Executive orientation, and the ability to enable the Business Technology team to deliver.
Superior leadership skills, with the ability to coalesce a high performing team of functional experts, while also contributing as an active and effective member of BCLC’s senior executive team.
