Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning: Various roles for Women through Athena Pathways
Athena Pathways is a Digital Supercluster project administered by AInBC with a goal of enrolling another 500 women into Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Machine Learning within the next year. Working with our consortium members and multiple hiring partners, we have four pathways for women looking to get into these fields:

On our education page you will find a list of applicable courses from our academic partners at BCIT, Northeastern, SFU and UBC that you can apply for one of hundreds of $500 scholarships! We have also received a large grant from Microsoft that you can use to have full tuition coverage for up to two select Microsoft Azure courses.

This program supports dozens of companies across industries in BC with highly skilled women and new immigrants who have machine learning, data science and managerial talent. We are placing machine learning and data science Masters and PhD students (as well as self-taught equivalents) into project and long-term roles with salaries subsidized 43% up to 18 weeks and a maximum of $17,000. In addition, we are recruiting mid-career managers in the fields of product management, software management and project management to enrol in accelerated machine learning training courses with our academic partners.
