Do you want to learn about science careers outside of academia? \nThe Society for Canadian Women in Science and Technology – Quebec (SCWIST – Quebec) invites you to listen to the experiences and perspectives of Dr. Kavitha Scranton\, Senior Scientific Editor at the Cell Press journal\, Immunity. \nDr. Scranton graduated from Tufts University with a BSc in Biology. She received her Ph.D. in immunology from the University of Massachusetts Medical School\, where she studied the development and function of gamma delta T cells. She conducted her postdoctoral research at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard on T cell-mediated autoimmunity \nJoin us on Thursday\, January 30th 2025\, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm EDT (Montreal time) for the next edition of the Chat with Us series – “Ins and Outs” of science jobs outside academia. Elle a obtenu son doctorat en immunologie à l’école de médecine de l’université du Massachusetts\, où elle a étudié le développement et la fonction des cellules T gamma delta.
