DESCRIPTION:Learn about gender norms\, psychological safety\, allyship\, inclusive leadership and action plans to support women and non-binary individuals.\n\n\nAbout Us \nSCWIST\, the Society for Canadian Women in Science and Technology\, is a non-profit organization that has been championing the advancement of women and girls in STEM (science\, technology\, engineering\, and mathematics) for over 40 years. \nEstablished in 1981\, SCWIST has a long-standing history of creating opportunities\, providing mentorship\, and advocating for gender equity in STEM fields across Canada. With decades of experience\, SCWIST has developed a diverse range of programs and initiatives that inspire\, engage\, and support women and gender-diverse individuals at every stage of their STEM journey. \nToday\, SCWIST continues to drive systemic change through its advocacy work\, partnerships\, and programs\, ensuring that future generations can thrive in a more inclusive and equitable STEM landscape. \nSCWIST has partnered with Next Gen Men to equip leaders to foster safer\, more respectful environments.
