Enjoy a Saturday afternoon at the Beaty Biodiversity Museum with a friend or making new ones or just networking while enjoying the amazing exhibits of the marvels of biodiversity. The Blue Whale Exhibit displaying the largest Blue Whale skeleton in Canada is there for you to see.

Right now you can also view the “The Herbarium Project” exhibit displaying the work of artist Karen Yurkovich and where she explores our complex and variegated relationship with nature. Read more about this exhibit in the blog of the artist:http://www.beatymuseum.ubc.ca/blog/blueberries.

Schedule: 

12:45 PM – 1:00 PM: assemble at the entrance of the museum

1:00 PM – 1:20 PM Visit “The Herbarium Project” exhibit:www.beatymuseum.ubc.ca/the-herbarium-project

1:20 PM: Proceed to the auditorium to watch Raising the Big Blue movie

1:30 PM – 2:30PM:  Watch “Raising the Big Blue”

3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Join the tour around the Beaty Biodiversity Museum

If you want to discuss the wonders of biodiversity or just hang around later you are welcome to visit the Museum café.
